Our school has a basement where the libary is since the libary is down the cold air stays down there so its really cold down there and when i mean cold i mean cold everything you touch is cold i put on my jacket before i go down there my jacket is kinda thin so it wont do much but its better than nothing i head down the basement and look around its empty its always empty all the student complain its to cold even the teachers do so all they do is get the books and leave the only time they have to stay is when some computers run out so they have to use the ones down here i look at the list its a list of books the teacher wanted us to pick and she will read them to us i walk around to look for the books i turn the corner and i see another student i wave and ask what there doing down here he says his teacher told him to get some books for me and her to read i said cool so did my teacher we talked for like a few minutes then the speaker turns on and the lady in the front desk says " This is not a drill go into lock down and lock all the doors again NOT A DRILL" Me and the boy look at each other the boy grabbes my hand and he takes me down under a long desk he says stay and he runs and closes the door and locks it and turns off the lighs he comes back and sits down next to me and we stay there in the dark its quiet all we hear is the noises from the computers fan then we hear a loud bang i let out a little scream and he tells me to be quiet i say sorry and we just look around another bang and another on at this point i was scared i started to cry and the boy with me holds my hand and says it will be fine then we heard the door of the libary shake like someone was trying to get in the we heard a loud bang as the noises echoes my ears start to ring i look at the door and i see a man step in he had shot the lock from the door he turns on the lights as the room fills with lights me and the boy try to back down as much as we can he starts to walk around and look to see of there was someone where we walks up to the desk my heart dropped was this it was i really gonna die then he starts typing on the computer he types for a while then grunts he bangs on the computer the computers have locks so he coudnt get in he walks around for a bit and lights a smoke then i hear our principle say let me go and two other men come down there holding him down the throw him on the floor hard he falls down and he looks up and we lock eyes his eyes widen and he looks down one of the men start to talk he has a Russian accent he says " Wheres the money you had more than a week to give it up if you dont give it up now we will kill everyone in this school" He points the gun at him " And you" the principle didnt say anything the man hits him in the face with the gun the principle falls down again hot tears run down my face as i see them beat him up the boy hugs me and blocks me from looking at the beating then like a blessing from god we hear shouting and police the men stop and they start shooting at the cops i cover my ears and so did the boy all i hear was bang bang bang bang bang it was so loud after they stop shooting i couldnt hear anything my ears ringged so much i coulnt even hear my own thoughts i saw all the men down on the floor blood everywhere the cops go in the pick up the principle the principle points at us and the cops go and get us out i still couldnt hear anything they take us out and lead us out of the school then i looka around and all the kids started coming out and everything was so quiet i tapped on my ear to make any noise but i didnt ear anything we get out and theres so many cops cars and ambulances the cop takes us the one of the ambulances and one of the men talk to me i stare at them not know what they are saying then out of nowhere i get dizzy and everyhting turns black i wake up in a hopital room i look around and i see my mom and dad next to me they get up and start talking to me it was hard to understand them they sounded so far a doctor comes in and they talk the docter wrote down on a paper saying can you hear me? i shake my head no the loud noises from the guns had damaged my ears so bad it made me lose hearing for a whole week but im glad i didnt lose it forever me and the boy started to get therapy for what we saw and i even found out he was the same age as me and we had a lot in commen so we started dated but thats not the point my principle did live what i hear was the three men where drug dealers and the pinciple had bought some drugs but didnt have the money at the time so he told them he will pay byt the end of the week but the lied thinking he could get away with it he was fired for drug use and putting a school in danger not only that two teachers died trying to protect there student and some where just badly injured im just glad me and the boy where never caught
