In the previous edition of FEMALE EMPOWERMENT series, our focus was on Education as a main source of FEMALE EMPOWERMENT.
Now, our focus will be on the POWERFUL AND INDEPENDENT NATURE OF THE GIRL-CHILD. Though it’s a general believe that females are weak and powerless but I’ll tostrongly be opposing this and also giving a world known and historical example of strong, independent and powerful women without whom, their various nations won’t have attained the height it has today.
Firstly, we have Queen Mary 1 of England, Queen Victoria of England, Queen Elizabeth the first, Queen Elizabeth the second, Catherine The Great of the Russian Empire amongst many more.
I’ll be talking about;

CATHERINE THE GREAT
Catherine Alexeievna Romanova was the Empress of the Russian Empire, she was commonly known as Catherine the Great. She was Empress of Russia from 1762 until 1796—the country's longest-ruling female leader. She came to power following a coup d'état that she organized—resulting in her husband, Peter III , being overthrown. Under her reign, Russia was revitalized; it grew larger and stronger, and was recognized as one of the great powers of Europe and Asia.

EARLY LIFE

Catherine was born in Alt-Stettin, Pomerania
Kingdom of Prussia (now Szczecin , Poland) as Princess Sophie Friederike Auguste von Anhalt-Zerbst-Dornburg. Her father, Christian August, Prince of Anhalt-Zerbst , belonged to the ruling German family of Anhalt but held the rank of a
