yes I'm depressed

“It’s so difficult to describe depression to someone who’s never been there, because it’s not sadness. I know sadness. Sadness is to cry and to feel. But it’s that cold absence of feeling — that really hollowed-out feeling.”
— J.K. Rowling

For me... depression is a zombie, I'm alive but I'm dead, I'm unaware of what's happening, I'm walking dead.
For me... Depression is a nightmare, I woke up to a hell, I'm afraid of living, everything seems impossible to bear.
For me... Depression is an ocean, a sea of emotions, I'm drowning everyday, however I can't save myself.
For me... Depression is a bottomless pit, Never ending pain, never ending struggle, there is no light, there is no escape.
For me... Depression is a war, a constant battle within myself, I think I Might surrender, for I had enough.
For me... Depression is actually something in which I will either win or die trying.
And I'm afraid to say that I'm losing.

YOU CANNOT PROTECT YOURSELF FROM SADNESS WITHOUT PROTECTING YOURSELF FROM HAPPINESS. TEARS COME FROM THE HEART AND NOT FROM THE BRAIN. TO HAVE FELT TOO MUCH IS TO END IN FEELING NOTHING. PEOPLE KEEP TELLING ME THAT LIFE GOES ON, BUT TO ME THAT'S THE SADDEST PART.
