I woke up from the bad dreams of regrets and learnt my mistakes, even if I am to help I shouldn't forget I had a motive. I continue to move with my struggles and challenges till my last year and last term in school. It has always been my dream to study medicine in Indian but I never knew how. I wrote JAMB UTME and scored 320 out of 400. JAMB means Joint admission and matriculation board. It is a body responsible for admitting students into the universities in Nigeria. I applied for an Indian scholarship exam and wrote the exams praying for God to help. I had a grand graduation as I graduated with the best result and I was the best student. I took home lot of gifts, certificates, medals and awards. I was then called upon to say something.
" I thank Allah which in his infinite mercy made it possible for me to be here today. I show sincere gratitude to my parents, teachers and friends especially Hikma. It is because of them I am here today. I had a straneous encounter but Alhamdulilah I am here today with a proud heart. All I want to say is no matter who you are rich or poor, disabled or abled, male or female, somebody or nobody you can achieve something in life. You are the only person holding you back from doing so.Beauty is not about physical appearances, beauty is not about looks, beauty is not about status, beauty is not about fame but beauty is in there. Beauty is in everything you do with passion, beauty is in everything you do with purpose, beauty is in everything you do with love and beauty is in you. I end by saying as a peacock who has been caged before BEAUTY LIES WITHIN. " Everybody applauded as I left the stage.
I finally got what I wanted as well as my friend. I got medicine in Indian and my friend got pharmacy in Egypt. We grew up to be great ladies.
