Something's Missing



After a long day, I was preparing the bed. He suddenly came and back hugged me. His mood felt different. I asked him if something was wrong. He said," I really miss Maa(mother)". I turned towards him in his arm trap and was now facing him. He made me sit on the bed. Then he kept his head on my laps and laid down. I said while playing with his hair," Do you wanna go home?". He replied," I mean I would love to, but work is holding me back and as you know shooting has just started for the short film so it's very difficult to take a leave". "You wanna call maa?", I asked him. He denied by saying,"She would have slept by now, and I don't wanna disturb her".
It had been a few days since I was noticing that something was definitely wrong with Anshuman. I had decided to talk to him about it this evening. We were cuddling on the couch, when I asked him ," Hey Anshuman, what's wrong? I have noticing you since days, you don't look good, are you not feeling well?". He replied," Woah ! Woah ! Hold on, so many questions, I am fine and I am feeling good ok? so stop panicking". I squinched my eyes towards him and said ," Don't you dare lie to me". He sighed and said," I don't know man, I just feel like something is missing, and I don't know exactly what". I hummed. I knew the solution to his question😌😉
