Dwarka Trip
Date: Sun, Dec 30, 2018
I reached Dwarka on the 28th of dec, morning. This is my third visit to this place but my first time along with my wife & kids. The last time, I came along with my parents was in the year 2013. Its almost 6 years, I visited the Dwarakadish temple.
Luckily we got to stay in the same Ganga hotel n room 109 and that's was a thrilling moment for me. Immediately I called up to my parents and shared my euphoric moment with them.
As soon as we reached, we got freshened and went for Darshan of Lord Krishna.
I feel I am lucky to have visited thrice this place. In the evening, we saw the bridge, connecting to another side of the Gomti river which was not there earlier. It's called Sudhama Setu. Kids had camel rides and the air was full of oxygen, I felt lighter and we all were happy n enjoying the moment. Overall evening was refreshing after the day-long rest at the hotel.
Then we moved to Temple, to have Aarti Darshan which happens around 7.45 pm. We were on time and enjoyed the aarti proceedings.
The next day, we went to have Ruksmani temple. The significance of this temple is that Ruksmani was cursed by Durbhasamuni for disobedience and she had water without taking permission of Guru while pulling the chariot.
Then we went immediately to go to Bhet Dwaraka, island, meeting place of Lord Krishna and childhood sudhama friend. There is a boat service, to cross the ocean. The beauty of this journey is that, as we start, a herd of white birds start flying above the boat which gives a unique experience altogether, difficult to express in words. I was told by the auto driver that the majority of the island population is more than 75 percent of Muslims. Bet Dwarka temple is under construction and even I donated for the development of the temple.
Later, we came to Gopi Talab and then, visited Nageshwar Mahadev which is the eighth jyotirlinga. Hats off and heartfelt Naman to Gulshan Kumar, for their huge contribution to the construction of the temple.
Jai Sri Krishna.
