In ancient times a blind man lived in a village. He lived alone. His life depended on getting food from the villagers. He does not interfere in anyone's work without reason. The blind man had a special thing, he kept a lantern with him whenever he went out of the house at night. The people of the village found this very strange. But no one tells him anything. Once a few mischievous youths in the village saw a blind man with a lantern and mocked him. The youths said that you are blind, you can't see anything, so why do you keep this lantern with you?
The blind man said you are all telling the truth. The lantern is of no use to me. My life is going to be in darkness. Day or night, everything is the same for me. I have a habit of staying in the dark. But I keep these lanterns together for those who can see and who are not in the habit of staying in the dark. Because no one can see me because it is dark at night, I get hit and hurt. I carry a lantern and go out of the house so that I can see others. Doing so eliminates the possibility of an accident. All the young men were ashamed to hear this. The youth misunderstood a true man and made fun of him. He began to feel ashamed of his mistake.
