All therians are born that way but usually they only find out during their teens. This period of time when you discover you are a therian is called an awakening. Now, I will repory anyone who hates on therians in the comments. But feel free to tell your story.

My awakening story happens kind of quickly. I awakened when I was still new to my current school. I had been sick for a few weeks and my friends discovered their identities while I was away from school. I came back and they met me, they led me to a hallway inside one of the school buildings. I was confused when they started doing quadrobics. I had never seen anything like it. I then joined in and later in the day discovered that I feel a connection to wolves. But that isn't my only theriotype. Later I was doing therian stuff in the library and I started doing wolf vocals. I did them very high pitched, like a puppy. My friends suggested that I might be a red fox as well so I changed to also accompany that. The time is during the start of 2024 to be spespific if anyone wants to know how long ago I awakened, you can figure the rest out.
