A Perfect Day
#WritcoStoryChallenge
The car sped through the dark night, it's headlights flashing, warning the incoming traffic. The back of my mind itched, as if I had forgotten something extremely important, but I didn't know what it was.

It was bothering me. I did everything perfectly today. I woke up at exactly 6 a.m., took a bath at 6:30 and finished up at 7. I ate breakfast by 7:30 and I went to work at 8.

It was now 8 p.m. and the itch was still there. It frustrated me greatly and I could only scowl as my grip on the steering wheel tightened considerably.

I took deep breaths to try and calm myself, as my frustration kept growing every second that ticked by. This was becoming a not so perfect day.

My breath hitched as something passed by at the front and I hit the brakes as my car bumped onto something hard.

I quickly got out and looked around, glad that I took a shortcut. There were no people. I realized I just hit someone with my car, the person's head was bleeding badly and their eyes looked unseeing. They were dead.

I swallowed and took my gloves from my car, wearing it before dragging the person by their hands in the alley. I opened the large trash bin and carried them inside, before closing it.

I was filled with adrenaline as I got in my car and went home. The moment I parked in the garage, I slumped onto my seat and let out a chuckle. The itch at the back of my head was gone.

I remember what I have forgotten now.

I kill by 7 p.m.

It was now a perfect day.
