" Mom! I am going " I called my mom who was busy cooking, she came and locked the door . She wished me good luck,as it was my first day at work.
After I passed out my college, I got a great job at a not so great company which was very far from home. I didn't know why. I thought it was my fate and accepted the offer and signed the contract for 2 years.
I went to the railway station and waited for my train to come. After a long 5 minute span, I mean waiting always feels lo...ng, the train came and I got into it.
It was so crowded, I couldn't even move my leg one step forward. I went to a reputed college in the city and I was not very fond of congestion while travelling as we had private buses which had limited strenght.
May be after an hour the bogie I was in was almost empty and I found a seat. I sat with a sigh of relief.
I started from home solid 3 hours earlier work so I could reach my destination which is my office. I took my phone out which I didn't attend for over an hour. I scrolled down the recent calls and saw a call from my favorite person,Maya, my girlfriend. I met her in college,she is a perfect example for beauty with brains. That was the reason I loved her. Quickly I called her back and I followed up my schedule today.
As I ended the call the bogie was almost empty with only 3 other passengers excluding me. The train entered a tunnel, the bogie became dark.
An hour later the tunnel didn't end. It was pitch black.I felt butterflys in my stomach, and my eyes were heavy and felt like I was very drowsy, and felt my heart is gradually stopping to beat, I felt like I wouldn'd reach the end of the tunnel and couldn't live till then,
I don't know why I was getting these thoughts.
I wanted to call my mom for the last time and dailed the number,I couldn't call as there was no signal..
I started typing in my phone notes
" It was an endless tunnel,
before the tunnels end,
This might be my end "
I grinned for my poetic skills ,after all I was a good writter in college.
I couldn't resist my self from closing my eyes ..
grabed my heart
I fell into an endless sleep ..


After sometime I opened my eyes to see light .
I thought I was dead, and in heaven.There was a person beside me waking me up constantly patting my head
I woke up and sat. I drank the water given by the person
and came to my senses and asked who he was ,he told me he was my to be colleague. He saw my papers in the backpack .
Finnaly that guy took me to office and thankfully I was not late. I got an message from Maya she was asking what has gotten into me and what was the message I sent her.
Wait,I typed that in my notes right and opened the not it was not in that it was in the messenger... I laughed at my self for being over dramatic and walked into the cabin the guy showed me.
I recieved a call from my boss to meet him.
I opened the door wishing Good morning..
I was shocked to see his face he was the guy fron the train.
He asked me about the scene in the train which I over reacted and actually terrified.He was right beside me,
I didn't notice all that because I was on my own created world, and busy being Over dramatic..
He laughed like hell, looking at my face
I couldn't feel less emabarressed...



And It was my first day at work....
