Journey to the Southwest 18

Day 18: Maggiwithjollofrice

We are moving towards the end of the camp and competition are rounding up. Today is cooking competition between the platoon and it was sponsored by Nestle maggi jollof.

Today being Sunday, there was no strenuous activities, after church services we were directed to the field where the maggi company had already decorated their stand.
We were told to scan and register our name for the event and immediately after that I took a picture at the maggi stand with their sticker and name card.

I really did enjoy myself today, I even went out when the MC called for two people from each platoon and we were asked to act as a queen and a rapper. I went for the rapping, I can't really say I did well but I collected one sachet of maggi jollof.
All because of the show I had to missed band practice.

I thought today will be good all through but nay when I heard the news that one of the female corper took and sold nude pictures of her hostel mates. An act of wickedness that must not be done to a female gender. Since I came to the camp I have witnessed a lot of scenarios but this is the worst of them all. May God save us from the wicked people that stay in the dark to do evil. Amen.
