The Curse From A Clove Tree
Story told by my Aunt:

Not so long ago but long enough, there were rented clove trees. In a farm of clove plants different people rented the trees.
It reached a time of clove harvest. Whereby people start plucking them out and selling.

At a time where nobody was in the farm entered a lady not so young and not so old. She too was one among people who rented in that farm. Started plucking out the cloves until she plucked another person's cloves.

She successfully mixed the cloves together until the Owner of the other tree arrived with other people for the harvest to continue. She then jumped in her own tree. As she mixed with others in talks and laughs while continuing with the work.

The Owner realised that her branch was less than she left it the day before. "What happened to this branch?" She asked.

One of the fellows turned to her "What do you mean?" asking another question as the fellow made others turn towards the clove branch.

"It was full with cloves yesterday and now it is very less." The Owner complained.

Another different fellow asked "Who among us could have done such a thing?" As he was looking at the others. "The Gates to the farm are guarded, could it be the guards?" He kept a guess.

"I kept much efforts in these trees and now someone just decided to steal my efforts." She said with anger. "Whoever did this has to show themselves now for I to forgive them."

The field was silence waiting for what will be decided next.
"There is no way to know who did this my neighbor." Another one talked after a heavy silence.

"I give another chance as he or she might be among us, maybe they didn't mean to do it, maybe the branches mixed up." The owner tried giving out reasons for her to forgive.

They were all quite again and everyone sighed and wondered who could have done such a thing that ruined the trust in the village.

"It seems nobody is willing to come out. So I will give my judgement. WHOEVER DID THIS TO ME, WHO EVER STOLE FROM MY CLOVE BRANCH SHALL FOREVER BECOME A THIEF HER CHILDREN, GRANDCHILDREN AND GREAT GRANDCHILDREN SHALL TOO BE GIVEN JUDGEMENT OF THIEVES."............

AND THE CURSE TAKEN. The village was insecure as valuable things started missing from their owners during the day and night l. Trust disappeared among neighbors, friends and so were the blessings in that village.
