The Amulet: Part 4
Jake: We will meet you at the Village of Peace! Try to stay alive!
All of a sudden, after Dom and Emma leave, you hear a bloodthirsty scream.
Sophie:AAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
Jake: SOPHIE!!!!!!
It turns out that Sophie had been stabbed! She looked down to see a sword in her stomach. She looked at Jake with terror in her eyes.
Sophie: Keep fighting! I will be okay!
Jake ( running to her ) : I don't think you will!!!!
Sophie: Actually, I think you're right...
Sophie fell to the ground and curled up in a fetel position, ready to die. Somehow, Jake had fended off all of the guards and was now trying to save Sophie.
Sophie: I- I can see the light... it's beautiful
Jake( crying): No! No, please don't go to the light!
Sophie: I know my time is short, Jake. But-but I wanted you to know that if I die-
Jake: You are not going to die.
Sophie: If I die, I want you to know that-that I've always loved you.
Jake: OH, Sophie, I've always wanted to hear that. I've always loved you and I will forever.
Sophie: Promise me you will find someone else.
Jake: NO! I'm not going to let you die, I can't let go of you!
Sophie: Promise... me.
And with that, that was her final breath. Jake tried everything he could to bring her back but nothing was going to change it. He meets up with his friends and bursts into tears in their arms. He tells them everything. Her last words, what he said back, everything. Dom and Emma are heartbroken and they start to cry too. Eventually, they stopped crying and made a decision to revive Sophie instead. So, that's what they did. They somehow got the Amulet and they found Sophie's body and revived her. The end.
Little girl: Oh c'mon Grandpa! That was a lame story! That wasn't even a good ending!
Grandpa: Sorry, honey bun, that's what the storybook says. Not my fault.
Little girl: Fine, but tomorrow you have to read a better one. Pinky promise?
Grandpa: Pinky promise

That is probably the one and only time I will ever do that. I couldn't figure out any endings that was happy, and I don't like sad endings. This is the best I could deliver for a story like this. I'll try better next time but please forgive me. And thank you for reading.
