Taking the song "May be it's you" is not something new to me. That wasn't the first time singing it at a burial. The meaning remains whatever to my spirit, until I met an old man.



Old man: Over there! You could be the one in the casket.

Me: Me... me... me? Whhhyy? I stuttered trying to look at who was in the casket.

Old man: Of course, you! You're not better than him or are you? He asked without waiting for a response as he proceeds.
See, I know how much you all respected him. The accolades and honour, you all bestowed him. He was a great man, yes! Great in your sight, but, God do not know him!

Me: what do you mean by God do not know him? He was a key leader in the church. He's kind, gentle and generous! In fact, his kind is rare! How will you say, God do not know him? I argued as the man only shook his head.

Old man: Laughs! My people perish because of their ignorance! Let me show you something. He said as something like a picture came before us.

Me: That's Deacon! I said as the man asked me to keep quiet.

Deacon: If you don't want the job, then use the door. He said drawing one of the files before him to himself.

Lady: I really need this job sir, please sir, let this job be mine.
