Harsh words too might come true
There was a lazy boy Gangu in a small desert village of Rajasthan. He was not willing to do anything except to study in a family, where it was important only to earn two times food by all family members for themselves. It was time of early seventies of dearths and when India was not self sufficient in the food production. The family used to earn the food from famine works where the red jowar was being given to famine workers.
In such a family study has no meaning and therefore generally boy's mother used to scold her son " You will wander crying roti, roti in your life means you will never be able to get your daily food".
The boy took it by heart and concentrated more and more on his studies and got scholarships for his studies at all levels and graduated in engineering from a reputed institute and got a good government job and a well qualified and intelligent wife. The life started to come on track.
But soon an eclipse occurred to family and the wife was detected with cancer and in a period of one year she left to her heavenly abode.
Now that boy of seventies again was on the path of " wander crying for roti, roti. As losing a partner in middle age does not leave a space for remarriage thinking of your children's doomsdays ahead.
The essence of story is that never ever repeat the cursing words for your near & dears in the worst situations . It might occur some day in reality. Be always polite and humble to them . If you need to punish them only silence & non- expectations mode is sufficient & effective then anything else.
