The masked girl(chapter 3: Finding Amar Varma)
As they both reached the gate, Anu got a phone call from her grandfather.
He said, "Anu, mom just said that you didn't find a place to stay there . You need not worry.... My friend Amar Varma also lives there. He is my old college friend. You will be comfortable at his place and will be able to come and go as per your wish. I will call him up and call you back in some time."

Anu was about to say something but the call got disconnected.
"What happened?" Ajay asked.

"My grandpa's friend Amar Varma stays somewhere around. So, my grandpa is telling me to stay there. We have come till here and you have already informed your friend's family. I am unable to decide. "

"It's a small town and as far as I know, there is no other Amar Varma around. This is his house. Let's go in and check. If he is the one, you stay here else, I will handle the scene."

Anu said alright and they both went in. As they entered, a middle aged lady who was setting up the shelf stopped Ajay.
"Ajay, I never thought you would elope and come here!"
This shocked Anu.

Ajay gave a big smile and said, "I wish I could elope with one. What can I do? I did'nt find a simple and sophisticated girl like you, sweetheart. "

Both of them laughed and Ajay introduced them to each other. "This is Mallika aunty, my friend's aunt and my funky friend. Aunty, this is my friend Anu, whom I had told you about."

"Come in dear." Saying this, Mallika took Ajay and Anu into the hall where an old man was busy with his newspaper puzzle.

"Grandpa, how is your puzzle going?" asked Ajay. Grandpa looked up removing his spectacles and said, "Good Ajay. Is this your friend? I feel I've seen her before but I'm not exactly able to recollect....."
Ajay asked grandpa about his college and as they confirmed his college name, Anu asked, " do you know Mr.KSN Rao? He might have been your classmate. "

"What is his full name?"
"K SuryaNaryana Rao. " She replied.
"So, you are Vinod's daughter Anupama. Aren't you? " he asked.

"Grandpa, do you know me?" said Anu in delight. Just then, there was a call on Amar's landline. It was Anu's grandfather.

After a short conversation, Amar said, "She is my granddaughter. You need not ask me if she could stay here. It is her house and she will have to stay here. Stop worrying about her and start worrying about yourself. If you won't meet me tomorrow, I will come to your place to kill you......" Their conversation went on.

"Thank God Ajay, it is the same place. Else, both of us would be in soup" said Anu.
Ajay smiled.
