This is a spirituality myth
Milk for god, why not for a hungry child?
Millions of people are suffering from hunger, we are wasting the milk in temples. Is it fair?
People are wasting tonnes of milk in the name of mahashivarathri and other occasions. A tonne of milk(i.e 10,00,000ml) is sufficient to feed for 4000 people. I feel quite surprised because people never care about the hungry or homeless person, while simply wasting milk in the temples which goes to the gutter-IS THIS STARVATION OR DEVOTION?
Hunger is the biggest challenge. The main problem for the hunger is poverty. Poverty is the central reason for hunger deaths. The reason for poverty is not lack of compassion or humanity, its a myth,we are all living in a myth. As covid-19 pandemic has made this aituation worse than before.
Some caretakers like saketri shiv temple in chandigarh came with an innovative idea, where the people brought their milk in pouches. These temple are collectinh the pouches and donating to the orphans. Instead of wasting, they saved many lives.
Serving to people is equal to serving to god.I believe god expects nothing from us.We should take care one another
