I found another cabin a few miles away from the border. I lit up the fireplace and sat with a tin of beans. I couldn't stop thinking about KC. How much I loved her. But it was pointless. We were so far apart. I tried to forget about it and fall asleep but I couldn't stop thinking about KC. A few hours later I finally fell asleep. The next morning when I woke up,I decided to go back to KC and tell her how I really feel. I got on my horse and rode all the way to her house.
