Warm lights of the room began to flicker and went off! Suddenly, the living room filled with a smoky moist mist! Moonlight coming through the window added to the eerie environment of the room!

I Staggered for a moment when I noticed five misty ghostly human like figures hovering in the air in the living room! I stumbled and fell down on the floor. I tried to scream but miserably failed due to my dried choked throat!

I rushed for life towards my bed room. By now, the whispering sounds behind were clearly audible to me as if some drama was being broadcast on an old radio set!

“He can see us…. He can hear us….. Let us follow him..!”, the boyish voice grew stronger.

I rushed towards my bed. Wrapping myself in the thick mink blanket, I held my breath so that no one could see me!

There was pin drop silence in the room as if nothing happened there, a few moments ago! Suddenly, I noticed that someone slowly pulled away my blanket. I was just thinking about next course of action when I felt a cold touch of a child’s hand on my right hand! Scared to death, I surrendered. I knew, my end was near!

“Bhaiya, please don’t be scared. We are not here to harm you. We are just the dead kids trapped here!”, came a cold voice of a child.

By now, for the reasons unknown, my fear slowly began to fade away! My heart was filled with compassion and empathy!

I opened my eyes only to notice that five very friendly translucent kids were sitting on the bed just next to me! They were talking to each other and I was able to hear and see them clearly!
