Imagination
Being an introvert, I found myself to be an observer.
Two days back around 11:30 pm, I was sitting near the window of my room with the cool breeze blowing on my face. I just sat there thinking of nothing. Sometimes I like being alone to give myself sometime.
So while I sat there, a couple of stray dogs assembled on the road barking and fighting among themselves. It was a routine sight during the midnight. I turned away and looked towards the ceiling above.
Astral projection is a term used to describe an out-of-body experience through which our souls can travel throughout the universe. The events on the Shab-e-Meraj might have been the same, I thought.
Meanwhile the barkings continued and became loud that it was becoming difficult for me to sit there.
I opened the window to scare them off. I saw there were two teams of dogs fighting among each other. I was amused.
Soon both the teams backed away leaving only two dogs on the road barking at each other.
I tried to observe their fight and in the process I got my own version of the translation of their language while they were barking furiously.
One of them barked, "Dusre mohalle se aake, hamare mohalle pe rob jhaad raha hai, saale insaan..?" (Being from different place, how dare you show your attitude here, you bloody human...?)
To this his opponent fought back, "Insaan tu, tera baap insaan, tera poora khaandaan insaan." (You are a human, your dad is human and your family is human).
They pounced on each other.
The fight continued for a while and then both went on their separate ways..
