Humanities flaws
In this world there are many truths. One such truth would be of opposites. Life and death, love and hate, good and evil, and lastly truth and lies. Opposites occur in every existence no matter if it has a living or an inanimated beings. There are many out there who put too much stock into opposites. What they refuse to see in this world are the lies. A lie to them would be the gray areas in life. A good person would never do a bad thing. However, if they did a bad thing it would be for the right reason. Such as killing someone in order to save the majority. Many would praise them for saving everyone, but some would condemn them for the act of murder. Another example of a gray area is how people define life and death. The generic definition of life and death is that someone is created and goes about living their life and eventually dies. Life is favored over death due to the fear of death. However there are those who wish for death because they cannot stand to live their life due to an injury, disability, or depression. In the grand scheme of things it is impossible to go about your life without being a hypocrite in one way or another. A person can hate the one they love or just love who they hate. In the English language alone there are many words that can mean the exact same thing, or could mean a number of things. A person can have the opinion that hurting others is the cruelest act one can do to another. There are those who are "cruel to be kind". Kindness can be a savior to many or the greatest deceiver. Mankind is often seen as the wisest of beings. While humanity has evolved to be a usurper over others with their intellect. Over time this has become their achilles heel. Humans are arrogant, destructive, greedy, sadistic, and manipulative. Yet in contrast can be humble, caring, creative, and merciful. Hypocritical is the one word that sums up humanity. Humans who hate humanity and humans who love humanity. Both of them could get it in their head to do acts of both good and evil because the "road to hell is paved with good intentions".
