Sometimes we get put through hard things so the truth can be seen. Some struggles take the things we so blindly ignored and shove them in our faces. This is the way God works. If He shows us that it is time for us to let someone go and we refuse to accept it, He will allow the person to hurt you to the point you have no choice but to let go. I did this with my relationship. I repeatedly ignored or excused the things about him other people showed me.
