(eventually i'll start writing actual stories on here, but for now i'll just continue writing about my feelings)

Music. Everyone loves music right? I don't think I've ever met anyone who doesn't like music. There are so many different genres of music. So many different artists and songs. It would be a tragedy to not like music!

All my life I've been surrounded by music. Slipping on my headphones and ignoring the world around me is one of my favorite things to do. It's my escape from reality, sending me to new and different worlds. Just like writing and reading stories.

I love every genre of music. Except for country. Not that I hate it, I just like every genre except that one. I used to love country a lot, but I guess I stopped loving it a few years back. Though I don't know why.

My favorite genre is probably rock music, especially classic rock and old rock. I also listen to a lot of depressing music like emo stuff but I try not to listen to it too much. I also love music from musicals. Like the Heathers or Emo the Musical. (Does The Greatest Showman count as a musical?)

Alec Benjamin, Anna Clendening, Digital Daggers, Linkin Park, Melanie Martinez, Shawn Mendes, NF, SayWeCanFly, Kate Vogel, Beth Crowley, Set It Off. I have many favorite bands and singers. And those are just the ones off the top of my head.

When I was younger I dreamed of becoming a singer. I even pretended to be Hannah Montana many times in Elementary School. But I'd rather forget that ever happened... it was super embarrassing.

Music is way of life. It brings people together in so many ways. It's helped me in the toughest times and made me the person I am today. Music IS my life! If I didn't have music...

I honestly don't know where I'd be right now.
