Life Won't Just Drive You Crazy, It Will Drive You To Kill.
As I sat here lonely once again drinking a glass of Jack wondering how come everyone else was able to have someone while I sit alone every night in bed wishing life would give me break.
That was the feeling he had every night except for this night, it was Friday night and he felt different, he felt brand new. so he decided he would take this opportunity and go and enjoy this time. So he shaved and got a shower and hit the town trying to find a place to hang out. Suddenly he saw the local bar up ahead and smiled as he told himself "yep, that's where I'll go". So he pulls in and finds a parking spot.
He makes his way inside and goes to the bartender and gets himself a glass of Jack and finds a empty table to sit at.
As minutes passed, he noticed he was enjoying the night. But his night got better when a woman walked over and spoke " hey there , what's a good looking man like you doing sitting alone in this bar?". He smiles as he replied " it's been awhile since I got out of the house" she replies " well, there's no need for you to be alone tonight, care if I join you?". He tells her " that would be wonderful, the name's Lyrik by the way". As she sits down she replied " nice to meet you Lyrik, my name's Brittany. But everyone calls me Brit".
As they both sat there Lyrik asks her " well Brit, your a beautiful woman. What brings you here alone?", or you just here to pick up a man and one night it". Brit sits there and tells him "no, ive just had a rough week thats all, finally got my divorce after only being married for 3 years so I decided it would be nice to come enjoy the night instead of sitting home alone". Looking amazed Lyric replies "my apologies, but how could a man let a woman as smart and beautiful as you go?" No need to answer he explains, afterall we only known each other for just a few hours. Smiling she explains herself "well Lyrik, your a kind hearted respectful man, unlike my ex husband who treated me like a maid" Lyrik stops her and says to her " no need to say more I understand, I was treated like that by my ex wife, ive been divorced
For about 2 months now." Brit replied as she raised her glass " well heres to two people who finally got away from hell".
They sat for hours talking from deep conversations to joking around. Thats when Brit tells Lyrik " im glad we met, would you care to join me for dinner tomorrow night?" Lyrik looking shocked replies " me to, and yes id love to, but how does me cooking dinner for two sound?". Brit replied " well , let's see how tomorrow night goes. Then we could work on next time" LyriK agrees. As last call is heard they finish up their last glass, Brit gives him her number and tells him " if you get bored before then, feel free to text or call". Lyrik smiles and says ok as he escorts her out the door to her car. She hesitantly goes for a hug and is relaxed when she sees he doesnt mind. He tells her "I guess ill see you tomorrow night" she smiles as she drives away. He then proceeds to his car and heads home
The next day he wakes up feeling refreshed and happier than he had ever been in years. He sits down with his coffee and turns on the TV. He notices the news channel was live, so he tuned in and watched. As hours passed and still feeling happy he decided he was gonna go out since it was Saturday, so he gets a shower and jumps in his car and decided to go out of town.
As he enters into this little town he already spots a place. He tells himself " well it's a new place ive never been." So he finds a parking place and proceeds to walk in and heads to the bartender and orders a glass of Jack and looked to see a beautiful woman sitting alone at a table, he walks over and says to her " the name's Logan , may I ask whats a beautiful woman like you sitting alone on this wonderful night?". The woman smiles and replied " feel free to have a seat my name's Carrie, I just figured id come out and enjoy the weekend after all ive been through this week I knew i could use a drink." Logan replies " I know what you mean, ive had a rough week and it got worse. So i figured I could use a drink myself ". She smiled and tells him " well good thing is, we're both still alive". He smiles and replied " yep, I'll drink to that"
As time went on and their conversation went from deep to joking around Logan asks " so what's your plans for tomorrow?". She ponders for a moment and then says to him " well since I'm on vacation and live few hours away I'll catch me a hotel tonight and see where tomorrow goes." He smiles and says " Well , its always nice to let yourself go and not worry about plans". She took a sip of her drink and replied " yea it is, so do you live around here?". He sat there for a second and says " no, I live in the town over. Just figured id go somewhere new tonight away from everyone I know".
As closing time gets near, last call is heard throughout the bar. So they finished their glasses. And Carrie smiles and says " Well Logan, it was nice meeting you" Logan responds " nice meeting you to, here's my number. If you get bored tomorrow I dont have any plans so feel free to give me a call and we could have dinner . I'll pay". She tells him sounds good as she heads to her car. He smiles and gets into his car.
As time goes by he realizes he is enoying this new life he has. He sits there and grabs a pen and paper and writes down the names of the women he has met,
He thinks for a second, and then writes.
Mary, Jenny, Ashley, Becky, Tiffany, Amber, Samantha , Brooke, Brandie, Heather, Brittany, and Carrie. And he smiles as he lays the pen down and picked up his glass of jack and took a swallow, then grabs a cigarette and sits back and relaxed.
Months go by as people keep seeing the news and reading the papers wondering when will it stop. And finally the day came when the chief of police spoke during the 12 clock news and said "I want to personally thank each and every one of you in this town and those that surround us. For helping local Police capture Mr. Thomas Wyler. He is charged with first degree murder for the killing of 20 women including Carrie, Brittany, Samantha, Jenny, Ashley, Mary, Becky, Tiffany, Brandie, Amber, Brooke, and Heather. We couldnt of done it with out y'all".
