News had reached Tade and Jide about about the pregnancy of their sister. They felt anger towards the guy that made their sister sad, at the end of the day they are all going to support their sister no matter what. Jasmine had brought the family closer than ever. They felt peace and united once again.
Chioma on the other hand felt a little bit happy of the situation. She had a reason now to make fun of her. She believed Jasmine's life had always being perfect, but her being a single mother would be a flaw to her. Chioma who had recently divorced her husband, Tade. She had no custody of their child, and she always have see him twice a week. Tade felt empty inside for he always had loved Chioma dearly, now her absence has made him depressed, even though he wanted the divorce.
A meeting was arranged by the two family to meet up to discussed over the pregnancy issue. Koffi and his mother met up with Jasmine and her parents at a private lounge owned by Jasmine's Mom.
"my daughter is not getting rif of the baby. If you want your son to be on board and act as a father, then we should know. my family and I can take care of our daughter and grandchild without you".
Jasmine's dad explained.
" No sir. We also want the child. we won't also agree to the fact that Jasmine should abort the baby, common the baby is four month already".
"OK. but you should know that your son had done much damages to my daughter and my family, so he isn't fully welcome to our home!".
Jasmine mom said angrily.
" Well, to be fair, Jasmine is not a child, she should know she had sex with a stranger! ".
" What????.
Things heated up between the mothers, both were protecting their children, but got into an argument. Koffi tried easing things between the women and calmed the whole situation down.
"Mom, I will responsibility for my child!".
" Of course son, You just need to get your wife on board. Tell her to be ready to be a mother! ".
Jasmine got confused for a minute. She is thinking of what her guts is telling her might be true. They want her to give her child to Daina.
" Wait. You want the custody of my child?".
"Yes. You're not married to my son, the only person that would take of my grand child is my daughter in law. I guess not you?".
" What????.
"You family are all crazy...who do you think we are??? How can you think so low of my daughter??? My daughter is not giving my grand child away, not to anyone, not your family!".
Jasmine dad explained.
