Acting Brave


Phew! It's been awhile since my work has increased alot. Alot of home visits, many patients in the Opd and Ipd is draining me out. I felt super tired these days. I wasn't able to cook that often.
It was Wednesday Evening when as usual Anushman returned home. With a weak smile I welcomed him. He gave me a confusing look. "You..you look tired", he said. "Eh..no..I'm fine", I replied. "C'mon, you look sick, lemme check", he said as he was about to touch my forehead I lightly spanked his hand away. "Aiyyo, You know I don't like getting sick, and a doctor can never be sick", I said with a huge smile and all the energy I had left with. "Ok my brave doctor", he said and went in for a quick shower. He came after awhile for dinner and noticed I had ordered the food again. Without saying much he joined me on the dining table. I wasn't eating properly. "Hey! What's wrong?", he asked. "I'm bored of eating this ordered food and I came home late today so couldn't cook", I replied with a pout. "O damn! Don't say this, without you ordering food, the food ordering apps will have to face a major loss", he said laughingly. "Uhh! Stop teasing me", I said with embarrassment all over my face. "Ok listen, to cheer up your mood let's have some donuts after dinner", he said. "Okiee", I replied with a huge grin on my face. " Look at that face, just look at that smile", he said teasing me again.
We enjoyed the night having donuts and lots of cuddling before both of us fell dead asleep.
