Write a story based on this famous excerpt from The Night Slowly Came by Kate Chopin:

I am losing my interest in human beings; in the significance of their lives and their actions. Someone has said it is better to study one man than ten books. I want neither books nor men; they make me suffer…

They also make me lose faith in my fellow human beings. The world is spinning on it's axis and those few seconds we lost those years ago may have affected us more than we know. I fear a chain reaction spiralling us out of control.

Day after day climate change on earth and literal change of my countrys' climate is becoming unbearable. The people of the present seem to want to live in the past.
Qoute:
Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it"-George Santayana

I pray for the future of our children and our children's children. For I see in them a light coming out of the darkness. I am saddened to see the world we are resting on their shoulders.

At the same time, I am heartened to know that though I have lost faith in the present state of humanity I have complete faith in humanity's future.
