Some silences are loud enough to answer all the questions. The long void before a yes or a no...The hesitation to answer a question, which you wouldn't even have given a second thought before replying in positive....All these are the warning signs...Observing all these in a person from whom you could never expect such a change all of a sudden, shatters you into pieces. The mind is lost in numerous thoughts, rushing in all directions, connecting the past, present, and future. You are too lost to grasp the reality, too shook to understand what's going on....

Sometimes more than harsh words, the silences hurt, especially when you expected them to say something.
