The Invisible Prison ( Chapter Two)
It all started when I was just a small boy. I remember one night when I was around five years old my Dad and Mom had been arguing and it upset me. My Dad came into my room this night to comfort me and he told me don't worry about your Mom and I fighting. Just because we don't get along doesn't mean we don't love you.
He said Owen I love you and you will always be my little tick turd. That was one of the weird nicknames his Dad had given him.
What I remember most though is right after that he said now bow your head and close your eyes.
My Dad began to pray Lord please let Your light shine on my son please guide him and protect him all of his days. And when said that prayer I remember almost like a small spotlight like the ones car dealerships used to use to let you know they were having a sale was right there in front of me as he said that prayer.
The light made me feel warm and safe and I knew it was good.
From time to time I would be out in the back yard playing with my cousin and we would pretend to make the wind blow. But I didn't want to pretend so I asked God to help me do it for real because I figured God has to be cool if He has all those powers surely He would let me do cool stuff too.
And You know every time I lifted my hands to make the wind blow it would. Harder and harder as I wanted and I could feel God smiling.
You see I wouldn't find out for many lives what was happening to me but I did know that I had a strong natural connection with The Creator of all things. And let me tell you something, the devil did not like that one bit
