The Funeral Chapter 3
Last chapter: Anguish

Prologue:
What stopped the fight was 'money'

The daughter said to her elder brother, younger brother, and the people,

Before dying my mother had made a will claiming that both of her sons would get an equal share in the property. What Mother had told you both, those words stay true. The elder brother gets the house and an equal share of the property and the younger brother gets the jewelry and an equal share of property.
Do you both even know what's the property? It's the cottages Mother had built only for you both, the rest is just extra.
Mother said you can stay in this house because you didn't have your own home moreover you have always wanted to grow old in this house that's why she said the house is yours and mother gave you jewelry because you are in business, instead of asking other for capital investments you can just use this jewelry as an investment. After all, the jewelry rate keeps changing.
Giving you things was an act of her nature, it was a way of showing her motherly love toward you both. Not that she discriminated against you both. I'm ashamed that you both are my brothers.
A little bit of patience and a little bit of humanity if you both had shown how nice the day would have been.
Now that everything is settled, it's the last day for us as siblings, from this day you both are no longer my brothers and you both will never be invited to any of the family gatherings. Take properties and leave. May we never meet again.

Epilogue:
Both the brothers were a little ashamed but after burying their mother they both left,
The daughter with the rest of her siblings left the place and went to the house that her mother had left for the children.
