So after my uncle left and I had a great day with Zusiphe as planned however since the day was already over and it was dark outside. On top of that it was left with a day before my grandfather come from the wedding he was attending in fact he was there to take over the whole ceremony anyway to be honest I knew he wasn’t there to stay be was going back so I spent the night watching movies as always. I woke up the next morning and took the livestock to the river for drink water anyway I needed a walk myself too I remember I met my uncle at the river and we talked and he asked when my grandfather is coming back.
“Molo mtshana (Hello nephew)” said my uncle.
“Morning uncle” I said.
“So how is it going?” said my uncle.
“Everything is perfect not that I complain and yourself?” I said.
“I am doing good son anyway I suggest you leave all livestock to me now I will bring it home later” said my uncle.
“Okay uncle thank you” I said.
“And besides you have school work to do” said my uncle.
“Of course” I said.
“Anyway when father will be back?” my uncle asked.
“I think on Monday afternoon or tomorrow morning I’m not really sure because the note he left wasn’t really explaining the matter well” I said.
“Okay son anyway let me let you go to do school work you know” said my uncle.
However, I left the veld with my uncle while he was making that the livestock is grazing enough grass after they drink water from the river. Anyway I went climbing the hills and jumping the wetlands until I saw houses at the village then I walked so pretty much well home. I remember I was going to pass my uncle’s house before I got home and he was the only path I loved and the dogs at my uncle’s house were barking inside the yard as always I wanted to get inside maybe I drink water or a cup of tea but I was in a hurry.
And besides I had much things to do so I don’t think it was really worth it for me to do chit chat with a cup of tea. So I said to myself that I will not enter I will pass just in case there was somebody outside I will just greet and went straight home. Luckily nobody was outside so as I was walking home I met Sipho who is my uncle’s son and I remember he catches up for about 30 minutes and we ended up going to our grandfather’s house and he helped me with the other things I was doing at home even he helped me with my home works since he is older than me so I knew he know better and the rest was on me to do. I remember he asked me about why am I not scared keeping the house alone you know as guy we always want to prove a point sometimes that there is nothing we can’t do and to be honest I was scared but I wasn’t really liking to be called a coward.
“So bro do tell…” said Sipho.
“Tell you what?” I said.
“You are not scared?” Sipho asked.
“Not at all but sometimes there are times I get scared” I said.
“I don’t blame you and this is a big house to be alone” said Sipho.
“Don’t worry yourself I can manage” I said.
“Okay then cousin” said Sipho.
