Weird ship - 9
Chapter 9
Johnny and Kent were looking at the diary and the unknown lettering. Unknownst to them someone was quietly observing them near the corner of the wall. He made no sound and was just waiting for them to make a mistake. He saw them down the glass of Dirty Martini and laugh like a madman , dancing with the pretty waitresses and completely forgetting their belongings. He winked at the waitress and she came to him. He stuffed a huge currency note in her breast pocket and she smiled back. He pointed to their table and she brought all their stuff. By then they had completely quietened and passed out. He downed a shot of whisky and exited the pub. He hailed a cab and sat in. The weather was quite chilly and the whisky was making him warm.
"Where to ? " asked the driver.
"Blue Moon Pawnshop, Central Beach Road. " he replied.

Scott Ranger was a skilled thief. He stole antiques and sold them to BlueMoon Pawn shop. It was a huge pawnshop where all kinds of antiques were sold. People also auctioned them for high prices . Scott made quite a fortune by stealing the antiques. Nobody questioned the origin of the antiques. Ever since the old ship came , the whole Sleepy Town was aware that it might have some bullion or priceless things. But the ghost rumour made everyone step back.

But Scott recalled his Boss asking him to follow this particular customs officer and his friend. He was a thief of Wolf Gang. His gang had a principle of never asking the purpose of the robbery. They had to only follow orders blindly. The client was BlueMoon Pawnshop.

He reached the pawnshop and paid the fare. The building was illuminated by yellow lights . The Letters BlueMoon Pawnshop was highlighted in neon blue lights reflected in the opposite large buildings. The glass door was reflecting the inner lights indicating the shop was still open. It was almost 10pm.

The pawnshop's interiors were a slight turquoise that highlighted the copper weapons that were placed in the top most shelf. The world map globes of bronze were placed at the corner. Guitars of various shapes and colors autographed by various celebrities from Elvis Presley to Michael Jackson were placed below them. The glass slab table housed ancient coins and stamp collections. Some glittery royal masks were hung below. The chandelier lit up the interiors and various portraits and landscape paintings hung up the opposite side. Several wooden clocks with cuckoos chirping at every hour were hung up nearby. There were no customers. Scott went straight to the cashier and placed the token. The token was a fake coin that was engraved with 'BlueMoon pawnshop ' and the backside was painted with a turquoise coloured half moon. He led Scott to the back of the shop. A mirrored door led him downstairs to the underground room. The forest like smell from the Cyprus oil diffuser wafted his nose. The client's instructions were to deposit the items in the underground room. He deposited the belongings on the table. The payment was made in advance and the rest was to be paid to his Boss, the Wolf Group. He was a bit hesitant to leave them when nobody was around but he had to follow the instructions without any questions.
