She was sitting on the grass field with her book in hand and her headphones on as that was her usual spot to chill and relax. A boy came and sat next to her......He took off her headphones and pulled her by the hand. They started running till they were panting vigorously and had to stop to breathe...
when she finally looked at the boy, she saw just how breathtakingly gorgeous he was...with blue eyes just like the Pacific Ocean and lips that were a pale pink colour just like the lilies...the boy looked at her and smiled...Oh,how her stomach hurled with butterflies...She tried to ask What was his name and who he was but he went away disappearing in the lush, long grass....She was left there, stunned, with not knowing what just happened..
so, she came again the next day sitting at her usual spot,waiting for him to arrive, and he came...this time with a bouquet of roses. He gave that to the girl and smiled at her...She was quiet for a few minutes but finally asked him"who are you?" he didn't respond...."Anyway thankyou for the roses" she said with a bright smile on her face. His face lit up and he smiled again..
"Can't you speak?" she asked...he didn't respond instead he nodded a yes. She said with guilt plastered all over her face for asking such a sensitive question...." sorry for asking that question, but don't worry, I am here for you if you need any help" he smiled at her kind words...and they became friends. They used to meet daily and he used to bring a bouquet of roses daily for her....they used to communicate through a notebook and they would talk for hours...
But then came a day when he didn't come to their usual spot....and it continued for several weeks. She was so scared that he would never come but she didn't lose hope and waited for him patiently everyday....
And then he finally came running towards her. She was angry and flung her hand in the air to hit him but her hand went right through him and that was when she realised he wasn't alive....He looked at her sadly and finally spoke the 3 words he had wanted to say since the day they met "I love you Amelia, I couldn't speak as there had been a curse bestowed upon me that if I spoke then I would fade away but since the day I met you I knew that you would be the one who would take my breath away" She was shocked but at the same time overjoyed and ecstatic...She couldn't contain her happiness.....but the sad part was that he started fading away...his small Petite feet started fading....She felt tears prick her eyes and before she knew it she was bawling her eyes out. With the little courage within her, she finally whispered" I love you too doofus." He smiled and disappeared with the wind not leaving a single trace of him. He was gone and it was like he never existed. She fell on her knees with a defeated look and cried till her tears dried up...
After 5 years...
She was sitting on the grass busy with her thoughts.....when a guy came up to her and said "I hope you didn't forget me Amelia"
