In the summer of 1989 I observed a company of men working on the Mica Dam north of the township of Revelstoke British Columbia in which also has a dam, 2 of 14 on the Columbia river. The men working on the land filled dam of Mica were contracted out to drill core samples looking for leaks, who knew they were also planning to bring it down with fertilizer nitrate explosives to make the most man made disaster the earth has ever seen. It was the late 80's things were kinda lazy. I was there unloading supplies from my 5 ton delivery van not ever thinking I witnessed the plot of destruction.
