Chapter 10: I Kissed Her! - 1

(3rd POV)

Dominic sighs and ran a hand through his wet hairs. He stand there for a minute then close the tap and step out of the shower.

He walk towards the rack; not minding the dripping water on the tile floor. He takes out two fluffy towels.

He wrap one around his waist. He starts humming a low tune while toweling his hair with the other(yep he's Dominic 🤭 but no one's here to watch his actions 🤷).

He then step out of the bathroom and put on a white turtle neck and some loose black pants. He leave the towel over his head.

Dominic stride in the living room and went to grab the remote to watch something till dinner time. But he stops midway when his phone buzz off.

Dominic contemplate over to pick it up or not but then he heard it buzz off again. He rolls his eyes and went to check it. "Better not someone annoying (Orion 😏)".

Dominic unplug his his phone and switch on the screen. His blank face glow up as if he could hardly contain his happiness. His sour mood lift up when he saw just who text him.

"It's Lily", he accidentally said that aloud but it's not like anyone is here to listen. He quickly unlock his phone and open the chat with Lily.

Lily: Dominic Help! I think someone following me; I m at xxxx street near your house -19:40

Lily: Dominic u there?! Please help I m scared. 19:41

Suddenly a dread feeling settles around his heart. Dominic clench his jaw tightly. He didn't just want to blindly run off. This will not going to help Lily if he begins to panic.

He swiftly tap his fingers and sent a reply to her.

Dominic: Where are you exactly now -19:43

Dominic hope that Lily is not walking around some isolated place. He heard a ping sound indicating Lily has read his text /Lily typing..../

Lily: Thank God! You answer me! I m in xxxx arcade. -19:45

He knew this place, after all Chase had drag him there after school along with their band mates. Again it feels slightly weird to call a group of people his friends.

But they're HIS friends now so he can't complain about it.

Dominic: Good, stay right there! Don't go Anywhere, ok. I will come and get u. -19:45

Lily: ok...but please hurry!

Dominic can sense the fear hidden in the text. He didn't waste any time and quickly wrap an scarf around his neck. He grabs his thick black coat and put on his boots.

Dominic ran out of his appartment but stops to lock it up. He then sprints down the stairs two at a time. He jump down missing the remaining 5 steps.

Dominic loose his footings for a second due to slippery ground but regain his balance. He ran all the way to the arcade not caring when people stop by and glance at him.

Dominic huff and puff; he bend down to catch his breath and look up at the arcade in front of him. Out of instinct, he slightly glance at his left side.

A man in his mid 20s stood beside the pole. He's wearing a long brown trench coat. He seems to be just standing there, waiting for someone.

But his black eyes kept glancing towards the arcade. Suspicious of his behaviour, still Dominic brush him off and walks inside the light up building.

He took only 3 steps before a small body collides in him. A sweet smell hit his nostril that reminds him of bakery. He felt two thin arms wrap around his waist.

Dominic stood slightly stiff, well aware of the small body leaning on him. For the first time in his whole life, he don't know what to do.

He was tongue tied and didn't know where to put his hands. So he stands there keeping his hands by his side which are slightly damp.

Lily seems to realise her actions and jumps away from him. Dominic felt disappointment at the loss of warmth but didn't let it show on his face.

"Sorry! I...um didn't mean to.... I just felt scared", Lily said her face turn cherry red. She fiddle her fingers and seems to looking at everything but Dominic.

"It's alright. Shall we?" Dominic said inclining his head towards the glass doors. Dominic step out of the arcade with Lily in tow.

All of sudden Lily steps closer to him and grip on his sleeve. His heart almost stop right there. Dominic halts and look down at Lily. She huddle up again his arm.

Her light green eyes slightly peek out of his arm across the arcade. Dominic snap his head instantly in that direction. He narrowed his red eyes at the man who's looking at them or rather Lily.

He knew now that man must be following Lily to catch her alone. He was waiting ther for her to come out. He's also eyeing her with lustful look.

Dominic glares at the man startling him from his staring. The man look at him then smirk almost in a challenge. Dominic rolls his eyes and smirk at him.

He slip his one hand in Lily's shaking one. He raise his other hand and gently raise her chin. He then bend his head down and kiss her right on the lips.

( ha ha I know a cliffhanger 😂😈 but find out what happens in next chapter 😏)
