Astrid’s perspective
As the full moon rose and ancient street lamps lit up for the night, Astrid nervously walked the sidewalk eight blocks from her home. She was nervous because she had never been out walking at midnight by herself, but at Peppers Steak House her boyfriend Brice had broken up with her and taken off in his green Kia Soul which was also her ride home. He had said to her disgust babe when I was in Texas a couple weeks ago on vacation I found a woman named Becca who is far more beautiful then you so I’m breaking up with you and moving to Texas to be with her and he even made her pay the bill. She knew she should have called an uber, but she didn’t feel like crying in front of a stranger. As she walked she heard rustling in the rose bushes and wished she could walk faster, but she was wearing pinchy black heels that were at least four inches, a tight black dress that showed off her curves, and a black shawl that barely kept her warm in the crisp December air. The rustling continued as she walked; it was like it was following. Then it leaped out at her and she saw it was a bunny, but fear had consumed her she screamed, took off her shoes and ran with the bunny hopping behind her. She ran until she had slammed her front door behind her and then she sunk down to the floor crying she had been stupid to believe Brice was the one and because of her stupidity she had wasted eight months with him.
When she woke in the morning she groaned and realized she was still on the ground by her front door. She slowly got up and headed to the kitchen. She knew she had to be at work in thirty minutes, but she didn’t care if she was late. It was just the stupid golden arches where she flipped burgers for people she would never know or want to know. She had coffee and then put on her uniform and then got into her beater black ford moving at the pace of a lamb being led to slaughter. When she walked into work everyone looked at her like she was a creature from a horror movie and she realized she had forgotten to remove her smeared mascara and she had not brushed her hair. She gave everyone a smile thinking to herself one day the space academy will accept me and I'll be flying through space, but for now she headed back to the kitchen and got to flipping burgers.
As she drove home from McDonald's eight hours later she saw a flash in the darkening sky and she sped up feeling uneasy. Then just as she saw her one story little pale white farmhouse come into view her car suddenly began to lift off the ground. She leapt out of her car and cringed when her knees scraped up on the sidewalk. She got up and ran, but then suddenly she realized her feet were no longer on the ground. She screamed in terror as the ground became smaller and smaller and when she looked up she saw with terror a metallic blue dome with pale blue lights shining over every inch of it and she fainted.
Prince Ash’s perspective
Ash gazed upon the long lost queen of the planet Obsidian as she was brought aboard by his servants. She was more beautiful than stories had said she would be. Her long midnight black hair fell down her back like a waterfall, her skin was as pale as porcelain, and he imagined her eyes were probably a stormy blue, but he would have to wait until she woke up. He told his servants to take her to his bedroom and help her into the silkiest sleep wear they could find and then come back to him when they were finished so he could go sit by her bedside and watch over her. He had found her through his invention he called the frezo meter which would pick up on Obsidian's body temperature which was twenty two degrees. He had cared about finding her because the Obsidians had always helped his kind the Icopics and he knew if he hadn't found her the evils would have eventually found and killed her and then they would also have destroyed her real home Obsidian, but now that he had her he would make sure the evils never succeeded.
Astrid’s perspective
When Astrid opened her eyes she shrieked because there was a strange man looking at her. He had ice blue skin, pure white eyes, white octopus tentacles that acted as hair, and ice blue spikes protruding from his back. He said, "it's okay, you're safe”. Astrid took a few breaths to calm her racing heart and then said, “who are you? And where the hell am I?”. He said, “You're in my ship the Galacer and I am Prince Ash, but you can just call me Ash, I'm sorry I scared you. I thought you remembered who you are and were just blending in with the humans”. Astrid yelled, “stop being cryptic and tell me what the hell you mean by blending in among the humans because I am human”. He paused a moment as if debating something and then said, “this will sound crazy to you, but you are the alien queen of the planet Obsidian and five years ago your planet was attacked by a powerful evil force and Obsidian just suddenly vanished and all across the galaxy people heard that the queen had run away to another planet leaving Obsidian and all it's people to die or the queen and Obsidian were destroyed by the evil’. Astrid tried to be calm, but she yelled at him, “get out I need privacy right now this is too much at once and I don't even believe your story I've been on earth my whole life I am just plain Jane Astrid Miller”. As he walked out he paused in the doorway and said, “if you think hard enough I'm sure you'll find gaps in your life”, and then he walked out, but not before glancing back at her with a look of concern. Astrid set up cringing when she realized her clothes had been changed. She didn't want to believe him, but yet deep in her bones she knew what he said was true. She leaned back and thought of her life and the more she thought the more she realized she couldn't remember when she last saw her mom or when she had bought her house. Tears began to fall down her face as she shattered like a glass vase and her body began to reshape. When she gazed in the mirror she saw Queen Isadora, not Astrid Miller. Her hair was now white, her skin ocean blue, her eyes still stormy blue, and she had dark blue leaves all along her arms and back. She smiled as she remembered her home's blue sandy ground, clouds made of ice high in the sky, and mountains of Ice that seemed to go up forever, but she frowned at the loss of Astrid Miller even though that was not really her Astrid had been a real person with a life and now she was gone forever.
Prince Ash’s perspective
Ash gazed out at the blackness of space feeling like a failure for not being able to help the queen remember, but he would not give up on destroying the evil or getting her back home wherever that may be if it still existed. Then suddenly to his terror he saw the evil coming straight at the ship. He hollered to his servants to your battle stations and keep an eye on the queen. Then one servant said, “um the queen is right here sir”. Ash whirled around and gasped at her stunning new appearance and then said, “you should stay in my room, where it's safe”. She said, “I remember that I am Queen Isadora and a queen does not cower in battle especially after her mother the former queen died getting her somewhere safe so she would not be killed and have a chance to one day return to Obsidian and take her place on the throne”. Ash said, “okay then”. They raced to the battle bridge that was a long hallway full of cannons that could shoot acid laser beams into space and at the end of the hall was a closet full of armor that would allow a person to float space with control and it had built in laser guns. As they reached the bridge Queen Isadora said, “we need to go out and fight these evil things they can shoot acid and crush you to mush with one finger so they would destroy the ship if we stayed in”. Ash said, “we will die for sure out there”. She said, “well in here we will die so it's our only option follow me or cower in here”. Ash said, “I will go with you”. They quickly threw on the armor and then Ash opened the hatch and he watched as Queen Isaora headed out, still regretting his decision to go with her plan, but he still followed her out. They quietly floated towards the ship and Ash thought maybe the evil hadn't noticed them, but then to Ashes surprise darts started flying only in his direction and he realized for some reason they only wanted him. He yelled out to her, “turn back, they want me not you”. Queen Isadora said, “I will not abandon you. I remember how kind your people have been with my kind and why would they want you?”Ash said, “I don't why they want me, but if you refuse to let me go and forget me you and your planet will be destroyed”. She said, “I can't forget you because I love you”. Before Ash could respond he felt multiple stings in his tentacles and then he saw a claw come out of the evil ship he tried to start floating away, but suddenly felt exhausted and he realized the darts had hit him. As he drifted into blackness he heard Queen Isadora screaming his name.
Queen Isadora’s perspective
Queen Isadora screamed as the claw wrapped around the seemingly lifeless Ash. She raced to the claw yanking at it and shooting lasers, but it would not break. Then came from the ship a voice that said, “come to plant Vixo are home in the next twenty four hours or the next time you see him he will be dead in the most gruesome way we can think of”, and then before Queen Isadora could say or do anything the ship zoomed off. She raced back into the ship screaming and sobbing. She felt like she could've done things different, but she knew that what she had done had been her only option. The crew came rushing to her and asked, “what do we do now?, your majesty”. She said, “we go to their planet and somehow destroy them and rescue Ash”. The crew looked at each other and then one who looked old enough to be her great grandfather stepped forward and said gently, “if we want to destroy them all we will need to Let Ash go or else some will escape while rescuing him”. She said, “we will find a way to do both, I'm not losing Ash”.
Ash’s perspective
When Ash opened his eyes he felt like he had just crawled through an Olympic sized sinkhole. He looked around and saw that he was in the basement of a ship and his wrist and ankles were shackled to the floor. Then he realized in the darkness multiple glowing blue eyes were coming towards him. He had heard many stories of what people thought the evil force looked like, but gazing upon it he could see the stories were wrong. It had no claws and no body it was just a pair of eyes. He knew it was not a good time to laugh, but he couldn't help it. As he laughed suddenly the eyes that were studying him grew hands right out of their pupils and slapped him hard on the cheek. He instantly shut up trying not to tremble. The eyes said, “we took you as our prisoner because it will be more fun when Queen Isadora comes to save you only for us to kill you in front of her and also your death will make it easier for us to destroy your planet after we finish with Obsidian”. Ash said, “What makes you think my planet will fall so easily? My father is a strong ruler and I have a little brother who can become ruler if I die, you are fools”. The eyes laughed and then said, “while you slept we scanned through your mind and we know your father is ill and nearing the end, and we also know your brother is only nine. Also that your mother died a couple months ago”. Ash said with as much confidence as he could fake, “your scanner is broken and you're too stupid to realize it”. The eyes chuckled and said, “,I think that's enough talking let's get to the fun part torturing you until you scream for Queen Isadora”.
Queen Isadora’s perspective
Queen Isadora sat at Ashes desk in his bedroom writing up ways she could save him while destroying the evil, but so far she had come up with nothing. She cried wishing her mother was here to help her or even Brice because he was a smart strategist. She soon dozed off and dreamed of her mom on the day the evil attacked. Her mom had approached her in her bedroom with tears pouring down her face. She had said, “my beautiful Isadora there is no way to win this battle, so I must hide Obsidian in the arctic verse and you must hide away on another planet so you can one day come back and be a strong ruler who will defeat this evil”. Isadora said, "Why must I go to another planet?”. Her mom said, “because the evil won't expect it and you're not ready to rule yet you're only thirteen and just to let you know the transportation might wipe your memory and when you come back I will be dead. I'm going to distract the evil while my servants move the planet, I love you. Then Queen Isadora woke up crying.
A couple hours later they were minutes from Vixo. Queen Isadora took a deep breath and then she got into an escape shuttle bomb in hand. She would destroy Vixo and the crew would kill any of the evils that made a run for it and then she would return home. She flew the shuttle to the lowest point of the planet where hopefully no evils lurked. She nervously parked her shuttle and got out with her laser gun in hand. She scanned the area and saw nothing but brown rock. She kept waking forward until after what felt like hours she came upon a heavy steel door and she heard on the other side Ash screaming. She aimed her gun and fired. The door melted to nothing and there on the other side were dozens of eyeballs looking at her with knives coming out of their pupils. They rushed her and she fired her laser gun as fast as she could. She gagged as the last one fell in a pile of white mush that smelled like stinky cheese. Then she saw Ash and gasped. He was shackled to the ground and every inch of him was covered in blood and he was unconscious and barely breathing. She rushed to him and shook him while yelling Ash, Ash please be alive please. He to her relief moaned and she quickly shot her laser gun at the shackles to free him. Once he was freed he slipped and she caught him in her arms before his head hit the ground. She got on her earcom and yelled to her crew I need you to be right by the planet now Ash is badly hurt. She then dragged Ash into her shuttle, threw the bomb, jumped into the shuttle and sped towards the ship that waited in the distance. When she got on board two of the crew loaded Ash onto a stretcher and took him to his quarters. Then Queen Isadora asked before she headed to Ashes room, “did we get them all?” The crew said, “we are not sure your majesty, but we got as many as we could ''. Queen Isadora said, “You're a good crew, thanks for helping me” and then she headed to Ashes room. When she entered Ash lay in his bed looking like he was just sleeping, but when she got closer the illusion was shattered by the cuts on his face. She sat down on the bed and laid her head across his chest praying he would come back to her.
Two weeks later they were finally entering the arctic verse and Queen Isadora was excited to return home and catch up with all her friends and family, but she worried about Ash because he was still unconscious. All a sudden the ship shook and she fell to the floor. When she got back up the evil eyes were looking at her. She shrieked as she was suddenly lifted off the ground. The evil eyes chanted kill Queen Isadora and destroy Obsidian. Queen Isadora thrashed against the evil eyes, but they only tightened their grip on her. They dragged her to the bridge of the ship where all the crew lay slaughtered and even worse they had a nuke aimed at her beautiful home. Then suddenly the eyeballs behind her lost their grip and she felt something splatter all over her. She spun around to see Ash standing over a pile of white mush, a laser gun in hand. He smiled at her and then threw her a laser gun and said, “go destroy their ship, it's on the Southside, I'll handle the rest that are in here”. Queen Isadora nodded and then ran towards their ship shooting any that she ran into on her way. When she got to the ship she quietly approached the ship and looked for its weak point. Once she found it on the bottom of the ship she blasted it with all the force she had. The ship shook and then it began to crack apart like an egg making contact with the floor. She watched with joy and disgust as white blobs began to spill out. Then she heard Ash screaming in the ship and ran as fast as she could. When she arrived back on the bridge she saw all the eyes were dead and the nuke was no longer aimed at her home. She also saw Ash was slumped on the floor, blood gushing from his left wrist, his left hand laying a few feet from his body. Queen Isadora ripped off a piece of her skirt and tied it around his wrist and then she flew the ship home as fast as she could.
When Queen Isadora landed her people surrounded the ship with weapons raised, but when she stepped out dragging Ash behind her they lowered their weapons and shouted “our queen has returned all hail Queen Isadora. Queen Isadora smiled at them and then said, “I am excited and honored to be your queen. Under my rule we will have many years of success and become one of the strongest planets in the universe and I am happy to announce the evils have been destroyed. Now please help my friend. The evils have cut off his hand and he is bleeding out. Her people rushed to Ash to help him.
A few hours later
Queen Isadora after having talked with her royal quart about future plans for Obsidian went to Ash's room in the infirmary to see how he was doing. When she entered he said, “did you get them all”. Queen Isadora said, “yes I got them all and now Obsidian is safe and I can take my place on the throne and I want to ask you to be my husband and King Ash of Obsidian”. Ash said, “yes of course I will marry you, I have loved you since the day I laid eyes upon you. Queen Isadora leaned closer and closer to Ash until their lips ment.

He to her relief moaned and she quickly shot her laser gun at the shackles to free him. Once he was freed he slipped and she caught him in her arms before his head hit the ground. She got on her earcom and yelled to her crew I need you to be right by the planet now Ash is badly hurt. She then dragged Ash into her shuttle, threw the bomb, jumped into the shuttle and sped towards the ship that waited in the distance. When she got on board two of the crew loaded Ash onto a stretcher and took him to his quarters. Then Queen Isadora asked before she headed to Ashes room, “did we get them all?” The crew said, “we are not sure your majesty, but we got as many as we could ''. Queen Isadora said, “You're a good crew, thanks for helping me” and then she headed to Ashes room. When she entered Ash lay in his bed looking like he was just sleeping, but when she got closer the illusion was shattered by the cuts on his face. She sat down on the bed and laid her head across his chest praying he would come back to her.
Two weeks later they were finally entering the arctic verse and Queen Isadora was excited to return home and catch up with all her friends and family, but she worried about Ash because he was still unconscious. All a sudden the ship shook and she fell to the floor. When she got back up the evil eyes were looking at her. She shrieked as she was suddenly lifted off the ground. The evil eyes chanted kill Queen Isadora and destroy Obsidian. Queen Isadora thrashed against the evil eyes, but they only tightened their grip on her. They dragged her to the bridge of the ship where all the crew lay slaughtered and even worse they had a nuke aimed at her beautiful home. Then suddenly the eyeballs behind her lost their grip and she felt something splatter all over her. She spun around to see Ash standing over a pile of white mush, a laser gun in hand. He smiled at her and then threw her a laser gun and said, “go destroy their ship, it's on the Southside, I'll handle the rest that are in here”. Queen Isadora nodded and then ran towards their ship shooting any that she ran into on her way. When she got to the ship she quietly approached the ship and looked for its weak point. Once she found it on the bottom of the ship she blasted it with all the force she had. The ship shook and then it began to crack apart like an egg making contact with the floor. She watched with joy and disgust as white blobs began to spill out. Then she heard Ash screaming in the ship and ran as fast as she could. When she arrived back on the bridge she saw all the eyes were dead and the nuke was no longer aimed at her home. She also saw Ash was slumped on the floor, blood gushing from his left wrist, his left hand laying a few feet from his body. Queen Isadora ripped off a piece of her skirt and tied it around his wrist and then she flew the ship home as fast as she could.
When Queen Isadora landed her people surrounded the ship with weapons raised, but when she stepped out dragging Ash behind her they lowered their weapons and shouted “our queen has returned all hail Queen Isadora. Queen Isadora smiled at them and then said, “I am excited and honored to be your queen. Under my rule we will have many years of success and become one of the strongest planets in the universe and I am happy to announce the evils have been destroyed. Now please help my friend. The evils have cut off his hand and he is bleeding out. Her people rushed to Ash to help him.
A few hours later
Queen Isadora after having talked with her royal quart about future plans for Obsidian went to Ash's room in the infirmary to see how he was doing. When she entered he said, “did you get them all”. Queen Isadora said, “yes I got them all and now Obsidian is safe and I can take my place on the throne and I want to ask you to be my husband and King Ash of Obsidian”. Ash said, “yes of course I will marry you, I have loved you since the day I laid eyes upon you. Queen Isadora leaned closer and closer to Ash until their lips ment.
