THE "CHESS" HYPOTHESIS
I'm far from becoming a Neuroscientist, or modern day Grad student for that matter; however, my hypothesis regarding theory of mind and the evolution of the "human" brain over time, is that based on the stimuli, exposure, and learning in the environment, the brain could almost remain relatively consistent or similar in range amongst different cultures and sectors of the human population. Evaluations considering mental preparation and variables including education level, retention, IQ, chess, problem solving, and overall skills may exemplify that studies involving different time periods could determine that variations in cognition may be based on a variety of factors, but fewer than expected breakthroughs may occur.

On the other hand, drawing contrast between populations or people can certainly be more than a topic for the brightness on your television screen. Affluence gaps, oppression, and/or examples of deprivation certainly do exist. However, on more logical or should I say rational playing fields, I presume the possibilities are endless.
