Maa Brahmacharini is the godness worshipped on the second day of Navrati. The Nine day Festival marks the battle between the good and evil in the form of Goddess Durga vs Mahishasura. It is the one of the nine avatars of Goddess Durga. After she destroy herself in sacrifical fire of yagna, Durga took birth as the daughter of King Himavan she was of Mountains named as Goddness Parvatior Hemavati. Goddess Brahmacharini wears white color clothes and holds rudraksha mala, lotus flower and kamandal in her hands.
