THE ONLY LOVER THAT DOES NOT SERVE 'BREAKFAST' 1
After another attempt at the last question of my Statistics assignment, I peeped through the windowsill to pave way for the evening breeze to sink into the core of my brain so as to cool and ease the hot flame there's and to blow away the impurities that seems to blur my brain from making the correct solution to the question.
As soon as I poked my head out of the window, I saw a young man who held a Bible and a big bell that chimes as he rang it and he simultaneously says;
"Jesus calls you, come!
'Jesus calls you, come! Some passers-by mimicked him.
'Look at his shoes' One of them jested.
'Even if I want to go and meet Jesus, is it someone as rough as you that I'll follow?' Another chipped in.
The young man lost interest and courage in continuing the gospel until he walked closer to my window.
"Good evening sister", he greeted smilingly as if nothing had happened before he got here.
"Evening brother" I replied.
"You look good this evening sis" He commented.
'This evening?' I queried as I did not like the thought of it. "Yes!" He confirmed
"Well, I've always been looking good, not only this evening." I corrected.
"I can see!" He replied
'He can see?' I asked within myself feeling irritated at his words and actions.
"See, say whatever thing you've to say as you can see I have assignment to complete" I said impatiently showing him the pen I held.
"Oh! Sorry. I just want to tell you about Jesus. He is...
"Brother, as you're seeing me like this, I know Jesus. If that's all you have to say you can leave. Someone that has just been served 'breakfast' cannot hear what the word says" I cut him short.
"You mean you just ate breakfast? Don't you know the importance of eating early sister?"
"Oh! I get it. The only words you know are in the Bible. The breakfast I'm saying is... Forget it! You cannot even know it"
"What is it then?" He asked
"You! You cannot even understand if I tell you" I said and looked away.
