Chapter Three
Mary Ann shakes her head as she sees Lisa waiting impatiently at her car, parked beside his. Lisa raises an eyebrow at Mary Ann, but Mary Ann just shrugs. (I try to tell her. Always try to tell her. Sometimes just being friends isn't the worst thing in the world." MaryAnn's stop is her uncle's shop, and by the time she gets there, her crazy best friend is far from her mind.

She parks her car, and her eyes catch her uncle worker Aaron, out front working on a motorcycle. Uncle Jim has owned this shop since Mary Ann was a kid, and it's the best motorcycle paint and repair shop around. He's well known for taking a teenager of two under his wing to teach

the mechanics, and Aaron his latest apprentice. Mary Ann loses in her daydreaming again, (Nothing makes my day like seeing him flex those muscles as he works...) Mary Ann's face turns bright red as Aaron looks up, blowing his hair out of his face, and catches Mary Ann mid-thought.

Again in her mind with a bright smile on her face, (Thank goodness people can't read minds!) Aaron waved at Mary Ann, She smiled and hop out to greet him. "Hey." Aaronsmiless at Mary Ann softly. His smile brightened as he greeted her, "Hey. A little early, aren't you?"

"I figured Uncle Jim might want to make it home before it storms. I thought you had practice today?"Aaron gets back to work while speaking softly, "They cut it short because a pipe burst in the locker room, so I decided to see if Jim needed some help." Aaron was a star football player on the high school team, often being the sole reason they won a game.

He's always been popular with the girls, but he doesn't give them the time of day. He's a quiet and kind guy and Mary Ann always wondered why he kept to himself so much but was happy he talked to her. Mary Ann rubs her hand down her face, and with a bright smile, she speaks, "That was nice of you. I guess the stars aligned or something left him probably a little early." Aaron pauses to look at Mary Ann for a minute, Aaron then smirks and nods. "I'd say you guessed right." with a bright smile he spoke. Mary Ann caught herself staring into his blue eyes and blushed.

Trying to keep herself from smiling she quickly replies, "Well, um... don't wait too long to leave. It looks like it might get nasty." Uncle Jim comes up flats behind like always, as hepatitis Mary Ann's shoulder and speaks, "Sure does! You ready, Honey?" The sudden entrance of Uncle Jim makes Mary Ann jump, causing Aaron to laugh.

Jim cleared his throat, "I take that as a yes. Lock up when you leave, Aaron, and don't stay long. Don't want your aunt to worry."

Aaron smiled like always, "Yes, Sir." He acted like a policeman. Aaron is such a good person, who is funny and loves to joke, but he mostly keeps to himself. After saying goodbyes, and heading home, Mary Ann Keeps thinking of Aaron the whole way.
