Without you
I woke up to the sunlight falling on my face. It was a pretty morning, but the first thing I did was to rush to my balcony.

And as always ,he was standing there ,watering the plants. I had to made a few hand signs to drag his attention, he bowed as a sign that he greeted me and I did the same. We were really close and we met about an year ago . We noticed each others in the balcony and he tried to talk and communicate by hand signs. After that day ,it became our regulars regular schedule to stay in the balcony and talk for hours . We became close friends, even though we didn't knew each other's names and I never cared as long as he is with me.

It was about a month later that my parents made a plan to go and visit my grandparents because it is the lockdown period and they are alone. I was really sad ,I didn't mean that I don't want to assist my grandparents but I would miss the funny communications every morning.

I continued to talk to him every day .After a week or two, we set off for my grandparents. And as I suspected, we got stuck ther because of the cancellation of our train tickets. It was a really difficult time for me. I miss him every morning and at every moment. We were stuck there for almost 8 months .

After the lockdown was over and the cases went down ,our returning tickets were planned . I was overjoyed, it had been months since I saw him.

It was around evening when we reached home ,and after I got off from the cab, I rushed to the apartment opposite to mine .

I surely fell for him, but was too nervous to meet him .I paused before his door and knocked a few times and then knocked a few more times.

"Excuse me, my child"A lady passing by said "The people who used to live here , transferred to London three months ago "She added.

I was stunned, tears threatening to spill. I bowed and thanked the lady .

And he became the sweetest memory of mine ever, even though I didn't knew his name or what to call him and still now my eyes are craving for him.
