THE KINGDOM OF CUPPER


Intro: A man named (Quart) in his late 40s from a small village in Leaven seek an audience with prince Celplas. The royal physician was summoned by the queen. The queen and prince celphas were sitted on the throne while listening to Quart.


PRINCE CELPLAS: why do you wish to speak with me?

QUART: my prince, I heard that the king is not feeling well, and the cause is yet to be found. I implore you let me see the king, I can heal him.


PRINCE CELPLAS: on what ground will you heal a man you havent even seen yet? Do you; perhaps know the cause of his sickness?


QUART: yes I kn...

QUEEN NUELLA: fine, you claim you would be able to cure the king of a sickness our royal physician can't cure, if you lay a hand on the king and you are unable to cure him, you shall pay with your life.


QUART: (he bows) very well your majesty.

(The royal physician enters)

CALIAN: (he bows) the royal physician at your service my prince and your majesty.


QUEEN NUELLA: Rise! This man (pointing to Quart) claim that he can cure the king.


CALIAN: (he exchange words with Quart) are you sure of your claims and how long have you been practicing?


QUART: (breaths heavily) I have been practicing for ten years now. News had it that the kings pulse is fading and he has lost his sight.


PRINCE CELPLAS: Guards! seize him, the news of the king losing his sight hasn't gone beyond the wall of this palace. Tell me how did you find out?

(Two guards immediately pinned him to the ground)
QUART: no! wait! I heard the news from the travelers, i dare not lie to you my prince.


CALIAN: your majesty I think we should give him a chance to prove himself, I'm sure he knows the consequences of what he has just done.


QUEEN NUELLA: very well then, Calian show him to the kings room. And don't forget this can cost you your life.

(The guards released him, he swallowed his saliva down hardly and exhale)
