Things can only get better
Indigo Fletcher is a twenty-nine year old, with Raven coloured hair, she had steel grey eyes and was naturally slim, her world had taken positive prospects and a life that just seemed to get better and better by the day.
She sat herself under her bay window in her stylish bedroom, she had a modern four poster bed, a built in wardrobe that had been handmade by one of her friends, Jackson Cooper. He had brown eyes and jet black, well styled hair and was rather sticky. He owned his own carpentry shop and his business had taken off with a boom. He like Indigo was twenty-nine years old, his attitude was always a positive one towards everything. Jackson had actually been the one who had encouraged her towards her goals and ambitions, once she had stopped being as down on herself she too started to do well for herself. They had been friends for as long as she could remember and no matter how many different directions their life went in they still had time for each other. There was never a love attraction between them, just a true friendship. Not many people seemed to understand that, they didn't believe that you could just be friends with the opposite sex, something they had both been determined to prove wrong to everyone.

Her room was a simple room, but she followed the less is more rule, she had minimal amount of things out, there was a picture of her and her friends on the side, a lamp on the desk of draws with a couple more pictures of her family. Her room had dark purple wall with her bed up against it and the rest of the walls were a brilliant white, to keep the room looking spacious.

She heard a lorry pull up over the road, which made her look out to see what was going on? Someone was moving in to the house opposite hers, she smiled to herself remembering the feeling of first moving into her flat that she was in, she had been so excited, she hoped that was how her new neighbour was feeling right now. She looked across spotting someone she hadn't seen for a good few years. He still looked as handsome as ever, he was a dark shade of blonde, his hair was styled in a fashionable way, she knew he had blue eyes, she remembered how they sparkled ashe smiled.
"Tobias" She whispered to herself. She watched for awhile longer before she turned her attention back to her laptop, her mind wandered to thoughts of when she was younger, remembering how she had, had a massive crush on Tobias Matthews. He had been the popular guy in college, all the girls went crazy about him and with good reason too. She had been no different. Jackson used to poke fun of her for many years about it, although Tobias had been popular he had taken an interest in being her friend which had worked. They had, had a moment when they had nearly kissed, but both had been to embarrassed to mention it again. she smiled to herself lightly.

Indigo pulled her attention back to her work and typed away for a good hour, she saved her work and walked out of the room down the hallway to the kitchen. She felt rather hungry, looking in her fridge and then her freezer made her realize she didn't fancy anything that was in them.
"Great" she said to herself, as her tabby cat made an entrance through the cat flap, "Heard the fridge did ya?" She asked him, he twirled himself around her legs purring,
"Meow"
"What will it be today?" She asked him, he just looked at her
"Duck, yes I think you should have duck today" She told himand busied herself feeding him. Then made herself a hot chocolate. She walked back to her room and sat herself down on her bed with her laptop.

She wrote some more for awhile, before her phone started ringing, Jackson flashed up on the screen.
"Hello" she answered
"Hi, just checking that you haven't jumped into your laptop" he teased
"Not yet, but words are starting to jump around the screen, so it's time for a rest"
"Good sign too, how's your day been?"
"Oh you know, I've walked from room to room, then did some work, fed Dynamo twice today and have a new neighbour, you'll never guess who it is?" She told him
"Who?"
"Tobias" she informed him
"Tobias, why does that name ring a bell?" he asked her in a teasing way. "I've never heard of him" he added
"Shut up... I can't believe he's living over the road from me" she said excitedly. More than she had meant too have sounded. Jacksons laugh made her stop, "Why are you laughing at me?"
"Reminds me of when you were always denying your mega crush on him, still just like you were back at school" he informed her.
"I'm not excited I'm just letting you know" She told him
"Of course not, your in awe of him until I saw him earlier"
"So, when are you planning a pretty planned bump into him?" he asked her, she looked over at Dynamo who had decided to join her, but even he seemed to be judging her with his eyes.
"I wasn't planning a pretty planned bump into him" she stated, "That's bound to happen sooner or later, right? We're living on the same road"
"You will" he agreed. "So how's Dynamo today?" he asked, she sighed at her friends sudden change of converstion
"Looking at me judgementally too" she admitted
"He's a smart cat" Jackson teased
"Well both of you judge me, he's my neighbour I can't avoid him forever. It's written in the stars now. We are going to bump into each other"
"If you weren't, you would make it happen" Jackson remarked, she smiled at her friends knowledge of her.
"How's Willow?" she asked changing the subject herself this time.
"Not happy with me, something about me not listening the way I should be or something like that. Just decided to stay out of her way for awhile"
"Oh because your hiding out, I get a call"
"Pretty much" he admitted "She has the play station"
"Just go down there and talk it out"
"I didn't expect that from you"
"Times change, besides Willow's good for you" she told him
"I know" he found himself agreeing easily
"Exactly stop upsetting your woman... Go and talk to her and actually listen this time"
"Fine I will, but don't go stalking your neighbour and I'll apeak to you later" he said and hung up, she smiled, Dynamo looked up at her
"I wouldn't stalk him" she told her cat, as he jumped off the bed and left the room, she shook her head as she watched him leave.
