Ep 6: Closer and New Threats.
(Continues)

It was Lunch time at school, as usual.
While sitting together Rege had alot of thoughts in his mind involving what happened yesterday still. Rj was acatully eating lunch this time but had just finished. Getting up to throw his tray away and heading back. Quincy and Rascals just watched. Waiting for a response from one of them. He was about to speak up until Rege had spotted what he hoped not to.

"Are you kidding me , lunch too?!"

Before a mutter could come from anyone, Tanner approached the table. In fact, he even sat down with seats still being available.

"Sup my people?" He spoke.

No one said anything for a second. He repeated the same line again but a little louder making sure he got a response this time.

"Sup." Rege finally gave in. He wasn't happy about Tanner having lunch with them.

"It's cool if i sit here right? I need friends. And i got no where to sit so..."

Rege looked at Rj and Quincy not knowing what to do. He wanted to say alot along with other things he didn't want the others to know, but couldn't. Quincy finally cleared his throat.

"Sure, i guess there's no harm in that." He smired and laughed nervously not knowing what to do either.

"No, he can't stay here. Quincy is just saying that, he doesn't want you here." Rege spoke up.

"How do you know what the tough guy wants?"

He smirked and started to face Quincy, giving him the same weird look as yesterday.

"Im Tanner. And you're...?"

Rascals looked uncomfortable as well as Rj.

"Umm...Quincy." he said.

"Ahh Quincy...intresting name." He smirked some more than faced Rege. Rege gave a frown as he turned back tward him. "Not that I'm gay or anything...but, you're single right?!"

Quincy's face quickly changed. Now he was even more uncomfortable than the others.

"I'm just asking, you know how we single men can be." His smile went away as he looked at Rege giving him a hint he was about to spill his secret.

"Look, if you're not gay, then why does it matter? What are you here bothering us for anyway?" Quincy said boldly.

Tanner went silent for a moment.

"Okay wow. So you guys really don't want me here huh?"

Rj shakes his head slowly confirming.

"Fine..alright then. At least i know things... and if I were to say the truth I don't think that this group would be together right now."

Banging his hand on the table hard he quickly got up.

"But...i'll save you the trouble because in the end, The truth always comes out... and I'll probably have to be the big brother that picks one of you up in the end." He looked at the Wizards directly now. They didnt say a word.

"Yeah that's right, they know who im talking to. As for you mr, i dont think you know me just yet, but I'm Tanner, and you'll soon see that around here I'm the boss.. I sit where I want and how. I ask what I want. I be what I want. So don't EVER question me." He said with anger looking at Quincy who was looking down at the table now to avoid attention from other students.

Tanner chucked. "Yeah, you guys aren't worth it. i'll see you guys."

And just like that, he was gone.

"Ok change from what i said about not liking him to really not liking him." Rj said when he was out of sight.

"No kidding, i can't even barely look at him." Rascals said next.

Quincy wasn't speaking, he still had his eyes facing the table.

"Quincy you ok?" Rege asked.

"Uh yeah." he says finally looking up.

Everything was back to normal. Except Rege still had his secret, and Tanner had almost spilled it. What should he do? Should he just tell them? Now they were really gonna think something was up.

"So what was he talking about we wouldn't be together? He knows nothing. Except for what Rage told him in middle school." Rj mumbled than looked at Rage for a clear up. "Do u know something?"

"Of-of course not. Dont let him get to your head, he may be a threat but he's just a sick person also. Like Sheila and Tori."

"I don't know, he seemed pretty convincing." Rascals claimed.

Al of a sudden the two voices that had overheard their names came up. Sheila and Tori.

"Hello people. Talking about us?"

Rege eyed them already fed up. He didn't wanna deal with more drama, and neither did the others.

"Look just go ok? If you say even one thing i swear." He got off his seat standing up.

"Oh don't worry, we have better things to do anyway, our science class teacher Mr.Coopers isn't here today, there's a sub so we thought we'd skip. Oh, and was that who i think it was, Tanner?" Sheila smirked.

" Y-yes! Why?" he was really over it now.

"Oooo things are about to get intrested then." she smirked at Rj.

Did Sheila and Tori had possible know what happened in middle school? But how? Rege thought. Then remembered how small Greenville was. You can't keep a secret forever. They both laughed.

"Anyway, we have a mission to get ready for so see ya." Sheila walked away. And right after her Tori followed, looking a little nervous as she slowly past by.

"I had enough trouble for one day." Rege finished as he sat back down.

"I'm confused." Rj said still trying to put things together.

"Same as you." Quincy said after. (To be continued...)
