Apparently Father's Day or Mother's Day and a variety of other specialized "days" are the most important days in anyone's life but certainly these are not the only days to show our Parents how much we love them.
Yes, granted, we should do that everyday and make them feel how important they are to us and how much we owe to them.

Lockdown has completely changed our lives. From being told to stay at home, to being told that we can't visit family and friends like we would normally do, it has had an impact on all of us who are away from their homes, especially on Father's Day.

I would like to dedicate this post to my Father; the man who made me who i am today.

Thank You Dad for your kindness; thank you for always being there for our family.
Thank You for changing my personality though unlike you I don't have that much patience to handle the things but i owe a lot to you for making me a better person.
Without you, i would have never overcame my fears and failures.

I have seen the sacrifices you made throughout these years to support our family. This includes working tirelessly day and night, never forced me to chose career or life partner according to your will, never interfered in my personal things and being by my side in whatsoever be the situation and also putting up with obnoxious people who took advantage of your simple, easygoing and helping nature, just to name a few.
It is the same kind of tenacity and altruism which I recognise in myself whenever I had to complete tasks beyond my level of comfort.

You're different and not considered stony-faced nor iron-fisted like the traditional fathers. You always ignored my mistakes and gave me the freedom of doing whatever the hell i want to do in my life.

I'm grateful for my Dad, who along with my Mom taught me everything I needed to know about living life and putting others first before myself.
