While I was still pregnant and just before I moved in my my father. Children's Aid Society was called because someone thought I couldn't raise my baby. No one offered assistance to me or my boyfriend until my father offered us a place to stay and help us keep our baby.

Then the wheels came off. My relationship with partner and my father were growing evermore complicated. After 2 years it was decided (by the courts) that in the best interest of the child that my father and stepmom raise my son. I am allowed visitations.

When my child was around 2 I had to moved out. I tried to live on my own until my diabetes landed in hospital for 2 weeks. At that time I admit I wasn't taking of care my health due to depression and other mental health issues. I eventually was put in an assisted living home....
