Dream Girl.
#LifeChangingContest.

"I saw her again, adorned in glory and looking amazing. This time; I purposed to reach out to her by touching her, but in a moment she disappeared even before my hand made an effort.

The struggle unfolded every night. It felt like a piece of me goes with her everytime i see her. This was quite a disappointing strive each passing day yet i never gave up though my efforts turned fruitless each time. I kept my hope alive by holding unto the belief that I'll oneday embrace the dream girl."

Maya is a beautiful young girl who was born disabled by a street begger. Her mother left her at a deserted environment, walled with loneliness when she was only three years. Her birth was a mystery; and her vulnerable mother had no choice than to give up the grip when she could no more fern for herself and Maya. Maya survived all by herself in an uncomfortable domain; untill she turned 16 and began to see the 'dream girl' each night she went to bed.

She was born with a special gift which no one had an idea about since she was always alone. She crawls to a shaded area by the street only to admire Miss Nathalie, the beautiful and well to do young woman and says to herself; "I'll be like her oneday". God makes a way through the little people give for her daily survival. She crawls back to her deserted domain to encounter the 'dream girl' at night. Nights are her favourite.

Miss Nathalie passes by Maya every morning when she goes to drop Clordia, her only child at school but she hardly take notice of Maya her secret admirer. She reluctantly stepped out of her luxurious car to listen to the tattered looking begger; one morning when she was on her way to drop Clordia to school. After a tough moment of stopping Miss Nathalie by screaming and waving, Maya finally opened up.

"Please hold on ma'am, don't get offended at what am about to say but i strongly believe it will be best if you Spare your daughter a day off school today, I see her life in danger" Maya voiced out in bad grammar. Miss Nathalie understood exactly what Maya meant but she turned a deaf ear to the advice. "I've got no time to waste on a street begger" She said while she walked away. Well, we can't tell the future untill it falls bear before us!

Sadly Miss Nathalie lost her daughter to food poisoning. Clordia shared her lunch with the new girl in her class and couldn't make it back home. Tears streamed down Miss Nathalie's face when she sat by Maya, narrating the incident the next day. All She needed was a warm hug to calm her down and Maya was right there to help.

She finally said to Maya, "Clordia is no more but you're right here with me. Please tell me what you desire to become and i promise to make it a dream come true".

Maya said, Again in bad grammar " I want to be like the 'dream girl'. I want to be adorned in glory just like i envision her every night i go to bed. I want to reach out to vulnerable kids on the street like myself and live a happy life. "

Maya's dream was well nurtured into reality. She is an able Physician now, reaching out to vulnerable kids on the street and impacting positively in the Society.

Disability is not inability indeed! Don't give up.Stay positive and you'll make it.! #LifeChangingContest.
