Recap:- Mr.D'Cruz came to Mr. Choudhary's house and talked about Hari who was accused of killing his father in law and was sentenced to death by Mr. Choudhary. Mr.D'Cruz also told that he saw Hari alive but Mr. Choudhary denied the fact.

The police called me after 1 hour after he left. They asked if I knew someone called Mr.D'Cruz. I said yes. Then they replied that he has been murdered. I was told to go to the local hospital.

I reached as fast as I could. His body was lying on the white stretcher and there was lots of blood. The police further said that he had been stabbed. The inspector,' Few boys saw him lying on the side of the road.

Unfortunately no one saw him getting killed for it was lonely street. He has been stabbed brutally as if someone took revenge.'

The body was handed to the son of Mr.D'Cruz. I went back home. I was still in shock. The thought of revenge made me remember of Hari. If he was alive(although not possible) then maybe these all were done by him. First my son and then my ex-client. I wanted to leave the place but my luck didn't favour. Due to a heavy landslide all the the tourists had to stay back for at least one more week.

Rohit was also scared after hearing all those. We felt it was better not to leave the bungalow for few days. But Rohit was not the type to sit at home when on a holiday. He kept on insisting to go out. I always denied. Rohit,' Fine. You don't have to go. But please let me go out. I will just go for a walk for some air. It would not take more than 1 hour.' I felt pity on him so I let him go but on one condition. He had to take Bahadur with him. He agreed and they both went out.

I went to the kitchen in search for some food. I took a bowl of cornflakes and milk and sat down with a newspaper being unaware of the fact that my future had something very horrific and dramatic for me.

I looked at my watch. It had been more than an hour. I was tensed for them but felt relieved when I heard the door opening. They were back. But when I saw the shadow I understood that it was only one of the two that returned. Bahadur came inside with a face with no expression. I asked him surprisingly where was Rohit.

He replied,' I don't know sir. We were sitting on a bench in the park. Sir ordered me to bring a cup of coffee for him. I came back with the drink and saw that his seat was empty. I called for him but heard no answer. I asked the people around but there were only two of them and they saw nothing.'

I could waste no more time. I staight away went to the police station and and took Bahadur with me. He told them everything and filed a missing report. My heart was beating faster than anything. I had no where to go, no clue to find my son. I was helpless. I just hoped for some light in my dark life.
