Food insecurity, a condition in which households lack access to adequate food because of limited money or other resources, is a leading health and nutrition issue in our various homes.

The fact that so many people are food insecure is important in and of itself, but potentially more concerning are the possible negative health consequences of food insecurity.

In view of this Nana Fi Agyemang Chief of Twifo Wamaso who also doubles as Kontihene of Twifo Ati-Morkwa Traditional Council has called on leaders and government to restructure our state farming to help lessons food insecurity in the country.

He said in the previous years there were state farms in some part of the country which help the state keeps food stuffs for future use but nowadays those farms are no more in existence again which will one day leads to food scarcity in the country.

In furtherance, Nana Fi Agyemang urges government and authorities that, in other to curb food insecurity , government must reintroduce state farming in some parts of the country .

He (Nana Fi Agyemang) emphatically made it known that, he's willing to offer a vast acres of land to government in his District to aid reintroduce state farming in his area to reduce food insecurities in the country .
