Amber stood at the kitchen sink washing the pots and then every now and then she would looked out of the window. The people who she knew who would often speak to her, just passed her open window without saying anything to her. Even though she would look straight out at the people who passed by, trying to make some kind of greeting to them, through in non- verbal way as a gesture of some sort. Instead, all she received was a couple of football at her front door at random times through the day.

Amber was so grateful for her TV in her living room that was gifted to her 5 months previously and also equally thankful for her cat, who appeared in her life a couple of years previously during the summer months.
